Dash and Dot from wonder workshop, along with Code.org materials and training (already obtained), supplies and lesson plans will engage my students of all ages and abilities. Dash and Dot teach 21st-century thinking skills through programming. Students will learn sequential and logical thinking skills that will prepare them for 21st-century jobs. Students will collaborate while they work in small groups solving problems using Dash and Dot robotics kits. Courses will be taught to small groups of 10 to 15 students, rotating groups every 4 weeks. Dash and Dot provide a fun and engaging avenue to teaching students the basics of computer programming.
