Stability ball chairs will help students who have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder), students who are on the Autism spectrum, and students who display other impulsive behaviors to help they stay on task and focused on their work. They will be able to fidget and move with out disrupting others around them. Students can also use the stability ball chairs for leisure or recreation time in the classroom.
The ability to move will give the students the ability to desensitize in a more structured and appropriate manner while in the classroom environment. Many students struggle with these coping skills in an educational setting.
