I currently teach in an urban school district. Our elementary school houses grades K-5 and each classroom has approximately 20-25 students. I have students of various socio-economic backgrounds. I have students of various ethnicities who speak a plethora of languages. Our school is also home to a large population of special education students and students with behavioral needs.
