My students are used to the very spacious kindergarten room we are currently in. But next year, the kiddos (and myself!) are moving up to first grade. We are getting a much smaller room and it doesn’t have a large classroom area rug. And, the current rug we have has to stay in kindergarten.
We'll need this requested Fun with Phonics rug for our new classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable and like that they have their own space during class meetings, lessons, and work time. This large area rug will allow for that. Students won’t be cramped trying to find space on our smaller rugs and will instead be comfortable and more engaged in the lessons!
