If chosen to receive the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Grant, my students would benifit greatly. My students would have access to many different and exciting types of hands-on activities. Children would be able to use their creative and problem solving skills daily by putting together puzzles, making things with various blocks, and building structures with magna-tiles. My students will get to plan out structures and build them with Zoob builders and Playstix. Then they will get to test their structures and make changes to their creations. Students could use Log Builders to plan out and make buildings in their community or plan out buildings they would like to see in their community. Hands-on activities are more engaging than simply listening to a teacher. They will engage in active learning while they practice their skills and knowledge.
