If we were fortunate enough to receive these items for our classroom, we would utilize the new materials to meet the needs of our students and help reduce their off-task behaviors and increase their ability to self-regulate their sensory challenges.
We would use the new soft seating to set up a sensory section in our classroom where students would learn to take a break and eventually self- regulate their sensory needs independently and then return to their academics.
The new kidney shaped table would meet our students physical needs during instruction. The bouncy bands on the legs of their chairs would allow students to have movement during instruction with no disruption to the class.
