I love to do STEM activities with my first graders but am lacking materials! If fulfilled I will be able to incorporate more STEM activities in both my homeroom classroom and Innovators class. Kids love doing hands-on activities. The magnets, Legos, Solar kits, and other items will give the students an opportunity to learn first hand. I de vote at least 2 days a week to STEM in my Innovators class. I will also use these materials during Einstein Hour on Enrichment days. During Einstein Hour we perform science experiments. This is a new initiative this year and I really want to inspire the students. I know the kids will love having these materials available.
