Geometry can be a very dull subject. To make it come alive, the students will have the opportunity to create projects of their design and explore Mathematical properties with existing CAD Tools. The computer, via ZOOM as an example, will be used to teach the students how to generate 3D designs and the create their end product from a 3D printer. The Math Department will "partner' up with the Engineering department to access the existing CAD Tools and Equipment. This on-going project will surely create new excitement in an "old subject", stir up interest, and target some students to enter our STEM programs. The overall objective is to have more students from our demographic base pursue a career in Engineering.
