My students need these materials to be successful in Orchestra. Our cellos are old and on their last leg. The repair shop will not repair them anymore due to their poor condition. The bass bows are also in very poor condition. Without proper working instruments and bows, students tend to get frustrated with their playing. We do not want this especially in Middle School when they are just starting to develop their skills. The new cello and new bass bows will help my students be less frustrated. With using new instruments and new bows they can produce a great quality of sound without having to battle a poor instrument.
