First graders need to move, wiggle and be active throughout their day. Traditional desk and chair seating does not allow these growing children to be active or engage their core muscles throughout the day. As students' get uncomfortable and have no place to put their energy, their focus on listening and learning plummets.
My first graders need active seating to maintain a high level of focus and attention throughout the day. I am asking for five Kids Kore Wobble chairs and 5 Teen Kore Active Chairs. Active seating allows students to wiggle and balance while also staying focused and learning. I have already replaced some traditional seating with active seating and I can see the difference in my students when they are able to move while they learn.
