I teach Autistic Support at a low-income school in Philadelphia. My awesome students aren't conventional learners. They need quiet-time areas in the classrooms with mats. They need headphones to quiet the noise. They have sensory requirements that need to be met with balls, sand, play dough, bubbles, counting tools, etc. They need technology aids for communication and manipulatives and items for sorting and counting. The list is endless. I often need to supply pencils, notebooks, class library and curriculum books to provide the best aids.
You name it, we need it and it is challenging to educate at the highest mark without your generous help. Please help us so my students can be educated to lead lives as independently as possible. All teachers are special. Special Education teachers have extra special needs for their students.
Thank you in advance for your donation!
