I am requesting a durable carpet for my classroom. This will accommodate the younger grades I see in my classroom, but still be a flexible space I can use with older students. I have tried other methods for the younger students, but the very young students need the visual and tactile cue of a carpet to know where to sit and be ready for class.
This will create a safe, comfortable space for students to learn. Students will be able to focus while we sing, dance, play instruments, and know where to sit will be an easier task for everyone.
