My students love music classes and are beyond excited to be able to learn the recorder. Due to circumstances beyond their control, many students will not get a chance to learn how to play a wind instrument outside of general music like older siblings or friends. Recorders are easily accessible to all students regardless of musical background, and are fun to play in small groups as well as in a large classroom setting. Recorders are also easy to differentiate for students with different learning abilities.
By donating to our project, my students will be able to share in the joy of music making with their classmates as well as, learning how to read and follow written music, enhance their own musical abilities and learn how to play as one group of young musicians.
