The purpose of this project is to provide students the access to independent learning materials for students to use during the Math Workshop Model. These fun-filled file folder games will enhance students' independent learning opportunity by providing a fun method to do so. The file folder games give students access to games that will help them benefit from practicing target key math standards, such as place value, time, measurement, operations algebraic thinking, and geometry. It will gives students the chance to practice and master the math standards. Students tend to be more actively engaged in their learning through the use of the file math games. It helps students become independent learners and helps them become leaders in the classroom.
Self-directed learners are essential for student success.
Students take initiative in their learning by being accountable when accessing and playing the file folder games.
