The yearbook staff works tirelessly after school as a club to capture the the student life throughout the school year in digital pictures. Staff members must share digital cameras with the multimedia classes, who use the cameras for digital video production, and often miss events if a camera is not available for check out. Having a camera devoted to the yearbook staff would allow the students to attend more events, capture higher resolution digital pictures and teach the students the basics of digital photography (exposure, aperture, lighting, white balance, metering, etc.). In the classroom the students will then use Adobe photoshop to edit the picture, create page layouts in the the yearbook, and edit the page proofs before publication.
