Our students will use these Legos to explore their ability through building, inventing, writing and developing the skills to be better, creative students. Legos will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use these Legos during our whole group and small group time, learning to create story boards, explore how to challenge themselves through literate and Science. Your generous donation to our project will improve our second grade classroom by building a stronger reader and writer. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age - having fun while learning! Legos can be used to build towering castles, sci-fi cities, complex machines, and now, they can be used to recreate famous scenes from literature. These Legos will give the students a hands-on experience with the books we are reading and helping them to create new stories as the build the adventures and write about them. Goal to teach the students to love learning. They will use the Legos to build the stories, using the different Legos encourages group work, writing and inquiring through research.
