Mindfulness is a self care technique that can be practiced by anyone, anywhere, and at any time! I love teaching my students how to implement mindfulness as a go-to coping skill. It is known to help reduce anxiety and stress while energizing and refocusing your mind for the task ahead. It also provides an opportunity for them to pause and appreciate themselves and everything around them by being present.
The best place to practice mindfulness is in a quiet, outdoor environment. I know the yoga mats will add a special touch of comfort and allow the students to focus on reaping all the benefits of mindfulness!
