Our class is a specialized classroom for preschool-aged students with disabilities in an urban school district. In our class, students learn skills that build the foundation to help them gain independence and success, not only in school, but throughout their entire lives. Using research-based practices, we help our students develop their skills in the areas of communication, self-help, and pre-academics. Our class also has a strong focus on helping students develop strong social-emotional skills. We know that preschool students learn best through play, and we play hard in our classroom, providing support to students along the way as they learn and grow.
