I teach Optional Extended Day Kindergarten (OEK) for my school and my class is filled with the students who have the lowest literacy scores on their incoming assessment for kindergarten. My main goal as an OEK teacher is to fill their literacy gap in Kindergarten to help them be as successful as they can in the grades to come. Due to the fact that my students have the lowest literacy scores in my school, I need quality books to read with them during guided reading in order for them to learn to read! Please help us get wonderful new books!
