My kindergarten students are very excited about this new school year and they are very eager to learn. However, they are a very active group of students; so they are also very eager to move. The extra movement often causes distractions for other students or even myself - having to redirect their attention. My goal is to make accommodations for my young learners who may be more active then their peers by giving them the opportunity to understand spatial awareness while still being able to move and learn. Each student is unique and learns in their own way. Wobble chairs will help my students stay focused, move, learn and grow without distracting their peers. This will also help with classroom management so that the focus will no longer be on redirecting behaviors but pushing each student to reach his fullest potential to be successful.
