The students of my school live in a high poverty part of Missouri. Some people would say the size and income level of our school would make too great of a negative impact for anything good to happen. Our students have proven time and time again that they can achieve way beyond what anyone expects of them.
I believe the main reason for the student's achievement is the family like closeness they experience while attending here.
I have found, especially with my students, people with the greatest character often come from places where you would least expect it.
