These books will be great hands-on references to our students about the lives they live. Our students will rush to the library to check out books dealing with their cultures and languages. These books also give them opportunities to see print literacy in their own school community and take home to share with their families. Our students will want to become life-long readers as we bring books in their languages and about people like them! Students will be able to borrow books about their cultures which will enhance their reading abilities. This will make their learning environment more welcoming, friendly and engaging.

About my class
