The wooden blocks, plastic blocks and other manipulatives in this project will be used with my students to help develop fine motor skills, social skills and problem solving skills. These blocks will be used daily in our classroom small group center rotation. Fine motor development is so important for young children during these days of technology. The more opportunities that I can provide to strengthen hand muscles and hand eye coordination the better my student's writing will be. Your generous donation to our project will greatly improve our classroom by providing my students with choices and variety during small group center time.
