The 5 iPad mini 2s, kid friendly cases, and secure storage and charging station will open up a world of learning and fun for my students. When teaching in suburban and elite private schools, my students had access to the best technology and resources. I want the best for my students in my urban, high-needs school. iPads are very easy for kids to use and provide access to quality reading material, educational games, engaging assessments, and more!
My goal is to create a student centered classroom, where my students share their thinking and work together. I use technology to be the 鈥済uide on the side,鈥 connecting my students with resources that fit their interests and abilities. This grant would help my students grow their 21st century and literacy skills, give them access to differentiated materials, and inspire them to follow their dreams!
