My students work really hard and outdoors just about every day. Our fruit trees are very young so the watering bags will ensure the roots develop properly and help the fruit trees to grow strong and productive. (More specifically these bags teach the roots to grow down/deep and not laterally so when we do experience a drought, they should survive.) The rain barrels will also help us conserve water while while watering our many plants.
We donate all our harvested fruits and vegetables to needy families in the neighborhood. We even have a chicken coop with laying hens, so every Friday we do a giveaway pack with the produce, vegetables and a dozen fresh eggs.
