The computer resources will allow students to have an individual computer instead of sharing. These MacBook computers will be used to enhance students ability to create designs using a variety of freeware programs called Inkscape, Slicer, Google Sketchup, and 123D Design.
The files created on these computers will give students access to the laser cutter and 3D printers in the technology education class and a variety of art classes. These computers will provide real world exposure to technology which is extremely helpful for providing a authentic learning experience with understanding 3D problem solving, engineering projects and their revisions for assignment goals.
