The Personal Fitness class at our middle school is growing. Students are working to develop fitness goals. They are learning to manage their own fitness, but we are missing a key component. The weight room at our middle school currently does not have any dumbbells. Students must use plate weights which are unsafe to use as hand weights in many different lifts. Having dumbbells would make the weight room a safer environment for our students. Funding for this project will help my students learn proper techniques with the dumbbells and muscle groupings. Students will also have the correct weight of dumbbells for their development and growth. Students will gain confidence in their physical health with the use of dumbbells
