Adding five Amazon fire tablets to my U.S. History classroom will provide consistent access to technology for 160 6th grade students. Students will be able to research topics and work collaboratively with peers on projects. Currently we are sharing 60 chromebooks for 160 students. This results in non tested subjects, like U.S History, going without daily access to technology. With more technology my students can take charge of their learning and participate in extensive opportunities such as google classroom, group projects, pod casts, researching historical events, people and places, etc. to enhance the classroom instruction. With additional technology students will have information at their fingertips.
