Nevada has implemented a new law where students need to be fluent readers by 3rd grade. I will be using the tablets and the books to help my students increase their stamina and fluency in reading. I will be using the AR/Reading Ranger program where students read leveled books independently or reading with a partner. After I conference with students on what they read, they will use the tablets to take a quiz. As of now, the students use my teacher computer and my own personal tablet. Having more tablets in the classroom will allow more students to be quizzed ensuring that my students will be fluent readers by 3rd grade.
