Location is key to growing minds and bodies. My fourth grade students enjoy working or reading around the classroom. However, we do not have a lot of comfy options in the classroom. The new rug, swivel chair, balance balls, clipboards, and lap desks will create inspiring spaces for my students to grow. Furthermore, the lap desks to complete work or use to keep their Chromebooks stable and secure.
The gift of flexible seating will allow my energetic students to have a student-centered, brain-based learning environment. Research shows balance balls increase concentration and reduce restlessness, thus keeping the mind engaged.
The contributions to my classroom seating options, donors will directly impact the growth and achievement of my students, all while keeping learning comfy.
