My students come into our learning environment humming songs they learned in choir, tapping their toes to the prime number song, and drumming a beat to our brain break music. They have the flexibility to stand when needed, and are often up and doing toe raises while engaged in conversations with small groups or while reading. Some students have access to a stability disc and others move to a floor space to work. Most students take advantage of this flexibility on a regular basis. This is a classroom of positive attitudes and constant motion.
