When new books arrive in the library, my students eagerly await for me to unbox them. Their excitement compares to the joy of opening birthday presents. Since our library book order is fulfilled and delivered in January each year, there are no additional funds to purchase books the rest of the year. The monthly book subscriptions I am requesting will keep the excitement of new books alive and going for one full year. Each month, our library will be receiving three new high interest fiction and non-fiction gold standard books selected by expert Junior Library Guild editors. These new books will help to refresh our library collection by providing current reading material that reflects the diversity of our student population and their interests.
