In Kindergarten, a great way to achieve classroom management for the majority of the day is by using a huge colorful carpet that the students can come to and sit and learn. The next best way to achieve some fun classroom management is through flex seating which includes the use of wobble chairs.
The Learning Shapes and Colors Activity Carpet is a great way to have the students come together for whole group instruction and keep them in their own personal space. Then as dismissed from the carpet, shapes and colors can be incorporated as well. Students can also use the carpet as a means of aid in learning their shapes and colors/color words by referring to the carpet.
