My students need new books for their classroom. Many of the books I own are either really tattered hand me downs from other classrooms as well as books from my childhood. I am a first year teacher so my supplies are short. I did find many books at garage sales this year, but I am just discovering what my students are interested in. I also need a better variety for some of my lower and higher level readers. In my order I include books that I can use for read aloud, books for my higher students, books for lower students, and all around enjoyable books that I have discovered my students enjoy. Example: I Survived Series. My students do not own many books of their own, and even though they do get the option to pick out library books once a week, I want books that students are able to access 24/7. These books will carry down each year as well. Please help me get books for my amazing students!
