The students will use the iPods to listen to a story as they follow along in the book. I will be able to choose books for each student's interest and skill level. I will also be able to create or download different audible activities to reinforce skills that we work on at school.
iPods will provide a great opportunity for my students to read at or above grade-level texts without much frustration. They will be able to listen to the speaker read with ease and accuracy. Each iPod will have texts on certain grade level. Students will have a play list to help them choose which book they want to listen to. These iPods will help improve my students' oral reading skills, fluency, and comprehension. I would love to incorporate an interactive listening center in our classroom!
