My students need games and activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, as well as math manipulatives to explore with. The materials will be used to facilitate the students growth academically through tactile learning experiences.
The math manipulatives and literacy manipulatives I am asking for will provide an engaging learning opportunity for my students on a daily basis. I am asking for a chart stand in order to be able to hang posters that the students create in the classroom. I am asking for a storage space unit in order to give each student a mailbox so they can save and take home their work at the end of the day.
For the majority of the day the students are split into small groups where they need to be engaged and challenged. These math and literacy manipulatives will allow the students to become independent learners while I am able to spend time working with small groups to ensure each child gets the support they need.
