My STEM Science students were discussing ways they could help solve local environmental issues. Specifically our local water system has been having issues with pollution and algae blooms. Several students suggested that it would be great to research about what other people have done around the world to help with water pollution. The idea was born from these students' desire to solve a local and global issue of water pollution.
