Right now we have a critical need to develop more resources and programming for students in the OSDC Program. This is an important developmental juncture, where Special Education students are turning 18 years old and becoming adults, and where their general education peers are graduating and going on to college. Our students need to start preparing more practically and actively for their futures. However, they often do not have the skills set to participate in training/activities with out extra supports that they are familiar with. Therefore, with the resource of a Chrome book we can offer the safety and structure of school but with teh convenience and familiarity of one tool to use between spaces for the preparing students for the demands and responsibilities of adulthood.
