In the past three years, we have switched from at-school to remote learning each of those years, either as a district, school, class, or quarantined individuals, sometimes for days, sometimes for weeks, or even months at a time. Wherever the students are, they know that with these tools, our class and learning will keep going. These compact but complete 鈥淭ool Kits鈥 are backpack-friendly and can stay with the student to use in our classroom or at home, whenever the need arises. With young learners, they do not need and should not have hours of screen time. Paper and pencil practice is critical for comprehension as well as strengthening fine motor skills. Lined dry erase boards are an easy way to for students to share their ideas, strategies, writing, spelling, etc., in a quick and easy way that they love! Math dry erase boards give guidance and structure with templates, but the student can still customize them to solve their math problems.
