The use of iPads is another world and experience my class will have with technology, especially for reading and research. Using the iPads for research, the students will be able to pick topics that collaborate with the lesson being taught. An example would be Science and Social studies covering the regions of Texas. Once we have learned the regions the students can pick a region and further their research specifically on an animal of that region as part of a project. My students can use applications, such as Nearpod, Padlet and many more. The tools and applications will let me monitor them to see if the student has understood the lesson. Once completed, the students will be able to share their work with the rest of the class. If I am able to engage my students and expand their education to then I feel they should be given the chance to be able to work with iPads and explore more things that are out there through technology. The world is changing and I feel technology will be incorporate more in teaching and might even be the foundation of their learning. By having iPads, students will be able to enjoy and focus on increasing their learning!
