My classroom needs iPad minis with cases. These devices will help with a variety of subjects including: reading, writing, communicating, language development, math skills, and research. Some of the things that these tablets would offer are math practice apps, access to research websites, audio books and visual books. Having several iPads in my classroom would enable a group of students to work on reading, math, and language skills while I work with other small groups. Receiving these devices would greatly impact how I teach and how independent my students can be. Not only would the students be more motivated to learn, but also, it would seem as if the world were more open to them. Having the use of an ipad would allow them to research topics they are curious about, practice reading, writing, and math skills, and even bring their own creation to life. My students will greatly benefit from the use of these tablets.
