Recorders have been used for generations in schools to help students learn in music class. These recorders will be used with all third grade students. Students will learn about proper breath support, note reading, counting, dynamics, tone and a variety of other musical concepts! By playing a recorder, students become ACTIVE MUSIC MAKERS instead of just listeners! In addition to learning all of the above musical concepts, students will get a chance to become performers as well. Students will learn a variety of musical pieces that they will get to play with and for each other! These instruments will be able to benefit not only my current group of third graders, but also classes for many years to come!
