The use of calculators is a daily activity in my classroom. Using these requested TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculators, students will see the differences in mathematical graphs, as well as having the capability of seeing math live through visuals. The calculators allow me to see exactly if they know how to bring math to life using the graphing calculator and the colors of the graph will make them excited about math. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student interest, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand. Plus, in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy, as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology. With these calculators my students will see how mathematics is applied in everyday life!
