Chromebooks can be used to surf the web, create documents and power-points for research purposes or used with unlimited learning apps that reinforce state standards. These devices will result in many, many, many hours of long lasting academic achievement changing students from passive to active learners. In addition, these devices used in centers promote collaboration, provide student-centered instruction, and motivate young children to learn from each other. Most importantly, students will be exceedingly delighted! The variety of assignments that can be used on these Chromebooks will be aligned with state standards, providing authentic learning opportunities for ELL, GT, and regular education students to acquire academic proficiency and improve assessments.
