A horseshoe or kidney table will be a major asset to my room. I am a firm believer of individualizing teacher time by students; however, I do not have an easy way of doing this due to lack of supplies in my room. Having a designated teacher table will not only give me an easy way to pull my students, it will allow better access to help them with skills that are less than par. I need an area that is specific for interventions while other students are working on something else. Helping students build confidence in Mathematics is my teaching goal. With a horseshoe or kidney table, I will be able to better reach this goal.
