Fun-filled activities with hands-on learning components stimulate student interest. Real-world science lets students learn just like scientists. I am asking for owl pellet kits, a dissection mat and videos about owls. This will make a great addition to our study of Nocturnal animals. As we learn about owls we will dissect, separate, examine, and identify the bones in the pellets. This project will be a great opportunity for an introductory dissection activity to reinforce basic science process skills and beginning understanding of science topics.The activities blend science, math, and language arts to teach students about owls, their habitats, and their behavior. The teacher's guide provides background information, activities, and reproducible handouts to extend their learning. This project will be a fun, engaging, memorable learning experience for everyone.
