Food plays a big part in all of my students' lives. Through food, they are able to communicate, explore and build relationships when they do not have the words to do so.
Having students with diverse backgrounds, it is important to value and expose students to each culture and way of living.
Having access to a refrigerator right in the classroom will allow for us to store food and have many various food experiences that the students are able to explore and learn from. It will also grant us easier access to certain foods that certain students need due to certain food allergies that are presented in our program.
