Over the last few years, our school has been pushing students to engage in computer science education. As many know, becoming computer literate is an incredibly important skill for our kids and for the future.
We've been developing curriculum that directly links these computational thinking skills to science content. For example, our students will begin coding a game focused on resource extraction, and will create 3D models that will be printed from a 3D printer.
To help keep engagement high, we really need more computers so that each student can explore and learn at their own pace. The more access to resources, the stronger their skills will become!
