My students need a colorful rug with spots for circle time with the teacher for reading, and marker boards to boost engagement in phonics! The rug will add not only color but amazing conversation and reading time in my classroom! My students love to interact with each other and read. We will begin meeting on this rug, discussing our story, phonics, sight words, and more! We will also use this time to tell positive things about each other and our learning to build self esteem and motivation. Marker boards will be used in every subject and allow students hands on ways to practice and answer questions! My students love coming to the board, but at times my board is not a great resource due to the lack of space. My students will be so excited to receive these supplies!
