I am requesting 6-15 inch Hokki stools. These stools would be a great addition to my reading center. My first graders are so active and fidgety that they are constantly leaning back in their chairs. This creates for a dangerous situation in the classroom. The solution to this is the Hokki stool! The Hokki stool is a comfortable and safe seating solution that transforms stationary sitting into an ideal environment for active sitting. Research has shown that movement during learning can increase a child's focus.
With these Hokki stools, my students will have the opportunity to actively engage in reading while ensuring a safe environment around them. These stools are intended for temporary sitting, so using them for a reading circle is ideal. I want my students to feel like they have the ability to move and not be confined to a stationary chair.
